O3 (2021 – ongoing)
A series exploring the Copenhagen suburbs dispersed along the third ring road.
While not an actual ring road, but more accurately a quarter circle, the road takes you through a diverse presentation of what the suburban landscape of Copenhagen looks like. While the road is meant primarily for cars, I have chosen to walk along it, to capture views and details that would most likely be overlooked by people driving through here with 80 kilometers per hour. Through the change of seasons and ongoing development projects, this stretch of road keeps fascinating me. I keep coming back to see how the suburban dreams of the 1970’s are unfolding in the 2020’s.
